PARKER HOME FOR COUPLE

ST. ANTHONY, Jan 2. -- Married Wednesday morning in the 
Idaho Falls LDS temple were Miss Collen Beddes, daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Beddes of Parker and Vernon Carlson, 
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carlson of Parker.

The young couple plan to make their home in Parker following 
a short wedding journey.

Mrs. Carlson, a graduate of South Fremont high school was feted 
by her friends at two parties this week. A shower was given at the 
Afton Remington home in Parker by Miss Larene Remington and 
Miss Shirley Bedden with the Christmas decorations of the rooms 
adding beauty to the feative occasion.

The guest spent the evening making a scrap book for the bride 
elect including in its pages original "telegrams" hearing their good 
wishes fro her future. She received many gifts from the assembled 
guests. Present were Miss Verona Shoated, Miss Joan Reemussen, 
Mrs. Irvin Murri, Mr. Gaile Remington, Mrs. Eugene Rigby, Miss Joyce 
Parker, Miss Carma Rudd, Miss Ruth Davenport, Miss Vena Rudd, 
Mina Marjorie Remington, Mrs. Gene Taylor, Miss Vivan Beddes, 
Miss Beth Davidson and Mrs. Lewis Stoddard.

The second affair honoring the bride was a charming informal trousseau 
tea at the Glenn Beddes home when family and friends of the young 
couple called to offer wishes.

Receiving were the bride and her sister Miss Shirely Beddes. Miss Larena 
Remington assisted in the gift rooms. Refreshments were served by Miss 
Joyce Parker and Miss Shirley Beddes and the afternoon was spent informally.
