E. Smithson, C. D. Tillinghast, J. W. Thompson, El? Allen, E. E. Stanley, E. Hunt and Jonathan Moulton. The Socialist party held its county convention here yesterday and nominated a full county and legislative ticket. Several sales of residence lots this week to people who are preparing to build indicate a continuance of the building boom that is on here. The continued warm weather has ripened the corn and assured a fine third crop of alfalfa. Our merchants report business unusually good. Quite a number of new settlers have located here during the last week. They all seem to have money and are principally from Iowa and Nebraska. The unlimited water supply afforded by the Payette river seems to be the winning card for this locality.
