MRS. SARAH ALLEN

EMMETT (Special)-Mrs. Sarah Allen, 61, a pioneer of the Emmett valley, died at 
a Boise hospital Sunday morning from a heart attack following an operation 
September 22.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the Bucknum chapel and 
burial will be in Riverside cemetery beside her husband, who died a few years 
ago.

Mrs. Allen was born in the Emmett valley, June 12, 1878,and spent her life 
here.  She married to Edward Allen at Caldwell August 12,1895. She was a member 
of the Rebekah lodge.

Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Walter Little, Mrs. W. S. Cruickshank, Mrs. 
R. G. Blaser, Vernon, Frank, Naomi, Howard and Jack Allen, al residents of the 
Emmett valley except Mrs. Cruickshank who lives at Montour.  There are also 10 
grandchildren and a brother, Preston Bradford, of Emmett.
