O'Neil, postmaster of Pearl, died Wednesday morning within a mile of his home while on his way to Boise in an automobile. He had been in apparantly good health. He was 65 years and had been a resident of this section of the state for 60 years. He'd served several years on Boise police department and later ran a butcher shop in Boise. Previous to moving to Pearl, he operated a mail route between Eagle and Pearl. He was serving his second term as post master. He is survived by his widow, four daughters and one son, Mary, Helen, Elizabeth, Leona and Michael of Pearl; and one son Joseph of Vallejo, Calif.
