Purlia Cordelia Bradford was born in Drake county, Iowa, June 30, 1862. When nine years of age she came with her parents to Idaho Territory. On Aug. 1, 1877 she was married to Isaac Womack, who preceded her in death June 2, 1933. Two children were born, Ada, who passed away at the age of 12, and Walter who lives in Emmett. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Sarah Allen, Emmett, and a brother, Preston Bradford of Letha, also two grandsons and six great grandchildren, all living in Emmett. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. C. Lathrop at the chapel and the Rebekah lodge had charge of the services at the grave. Mrs. Womack has been a member of the Rebekah lodge in Emmett for over 40 years. The Emmett Messenger Emmett, Idaho March 2, 1939 Mrs. Purlia Bradford Womack Miss Burlia Cordelia Bradford was born in Drake county, Iowa, June 30, 1862, and passed away at her home in Emmett February 27, 1939. She was a daughter of Ezra and Elizabeth Bradford. She came with her parents to Idaho Territory in 1871 when nine years of age. She became the bride of Isaac Womack August 1, 1877, who preceded her in death on June 2, 1933. To this union two children were born, Ada, who passed away at the age of 12, and Walter, who resides here in Emmett. She also leaves to mourn her passing a sister, Mrs. Sarah Allen of Emmett, and a brother, Preston Bradford of Letha; also two grandsons, Elmer and Alfred Womack and six great grandchildren, all living in Emmett. For over 40 years she was a loyal member of the Rebekah lodge of Emmett. Funeral services were held at the Bucknum chapel Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. A. C. Lathrop. Interment was made in our Riverside cemetery, where the body was laid to rest beside that of her husband. The Rebekah lodge attended in a body and conducted a graveside service at the cemetery.
