Idaho Evening Times February 4, 1942
Gooding, February 4 (Special)
Leo Owsley, Hagerman, who enlisted in the U.S Navy two years ago, died as a 
result of enemy action, according to the U.S. Navy Department. 
Telegram notifying Mrs. J.D.Ellis, Hagerman of her son's death, was received 
yesterday. It stated that the youth died in defense of his country.
