From the Idaho Statesman, July 11, 1958 Wendell - Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Palmer, 
79, of Wendell died Thursday morning at her home. Mrs. Palmer was born April 
6, 1879, at Harris, MO. She was married in 1903 to David O Palmer at Perry, 
Iowa, and the couple came to Jerome in 1935 and to Wendell in 1953. Mrs. 
Palmer was a practical nurse by profession and a member of the LDS Church. She 
is survived by one son, George C Palmer of Jerome; two daughtes, Mrs. Wesley 
Ball and Mrs Roy Tipton, both of Jerome; four brothers, Elmer, Joe and Earl 
Hampshire, all of Osgood, Mo., and John Hampshire of Hastings, Neb.; two 
sisters, Mrs. Erie Marlow of Newtown, Mo., and Mrs. Rena Pigg of Weatherford, 
Okla., and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sevices will be held 
Monday at 10 a.m. at the Wendell LDS Church. Bishop Melvin Allred will 
officiate.Interment will be at Wendell. Friends may call at the Weaver chapel 
from 4 p.m. Saturday until the service.
