DEATH TAKES BLISS MAN, 82
  Bliss- Marion Thacker, 82, Bliss, died at Hull ranch Thursday afternoon of a 
brief illiness.
  He was born in Morristown, Tenn.,  Jan 25 1884, and farmed. On feb 28, 1916, 
he married, Mary Nelda Blough in Rockport, Mo., where they farmed until 1919. 
They moved to Kimberly at that time. He worked for 25 years on the Charles 
Fisher ranch. He belonged to the Methodist Church in Tenn.
  They lived in Hansen and Eden areas for several years, moving to Gooding and 
Bliss area in 1947. Mr. Thacker had lived here since.
  Survivors include his widow; five sons, Clifford Thacker, Elko Nevada; Ralph 
Thacker and Vernon Thacker, both Bliss; Leslie Thacker, Caldwell, and Fred 
Thacker, with the U.S. Army in Viet Nam; one daughter, Mrs. Williams Novak, 
Wendell, and 19 grandchildren.
  Friends may call at Thompson chapel Saturday noon and until time of services 
which are pending word from the son in Viet Nam.
