Roger M. "Rod" Davidson, 78

   Roger M. "Rod" Davidson, 78, of Boise, died Aug. 4, 2005, at a local 
hospital.

   He was born April 12, 1927, in Boise to Frank Gaines Davidson and Mary Daly 
Davidson, the youngest of three sons. He graduated from St. Theresa's Academy 
in 1945 and served in the USNR from 1945 to 1947. He was a smoke jumper with 
the crew of '47 based out of McCall and would jump into many remote areas of 
Idaho's back country. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of 
Idaho, Moscow in 1952.
