Juanita R. Bunney, 84

   Juanita Ruth (Hardy) Bunney, former resident of the Potlatch and Kooskia 
areas died of age-related causes on July 30, 2005, at Lewiston. She was born 
Feb. 13, 1921, at Hulen, Okla., to Newland E. and Ida Hilbert Hardy. Her 
family affectionately called her "Skeeter." Attending school through the 10th 
grade in the Stillwater area, she played ball on the state basketball team, 
spent her leisure hours swimming and catching catfish in the pond created by 
the CCCs, learned to cook and sew at an early age, was a self-taught piano and 
fiddle player and enjoyed riding her father's workhorse, Maudi.
