     Hannah E. Rothwell, 68, died at her home Sunday, January 25, following 
several months of illness.  Funeral services were held from chapel of the 
Ailor Mortuary Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. John Kees, 
Baptist minister, officiating.  Interment was in Prairie View cemetery.
  Four hymns selected by Mrs. Rothwell for her burial service were rendered 
beautifully by the Rev.  and Mrs. Jasper Havens of the Church of Christ.
  Hannah E. Skaggs was born in Texas, September 15, 1873.  Later her parents 
removed to Arkansas where she spent the early years of childhood until she was 
13 years of age when the family moved to Idaho where she finished her 
schooling in this vicinity.  To her first marriage were born five children; 
Carrol D. Thomason, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Mildred Nicholson, Kelso, Wash.; 
Vance Thomason, Craigmont, Idaho, and Bryon and Marshall Thomason, Orofino, 
Idaho, all of whom survive.  Other survivors include her husband, Hervin 
Rothwell, Grangeville, whom she married March 20, 1937; one sister, Mrs. Sarah 
Yates, Vashon, Wash.; two half sisters, Mrs. Ethel Kennedy, Pollock, Idaho, 
and Mrs. Jessie Reynolds, White Bird, Idaho; one half brother, Lawrence 
Howard, Nezperce, Idaho, and 14 grandchildren.
  Mrs. Rothwell was a member of the Baptist church of Grangeville.
  Besides the relatives a host of friends mourn her passing.
