Lyle E. Weeks, 74

Lyle E. Weeks, a long-time Kooskia resident, died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 3, at 
Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane of kidney failure.

He was born on Aug. 5, 1929, in Lorimor, Iowa, to Glen and Opal Akins Weeks. 
His family moved to the Kooskia area when he was just a few weeks old. He 
attended school in Kooskia and as a teenager was quite active and involved in 
all sports, particularly basketball. He graduated from Kooskia High School 
class of 1949.
