J. Bridgman- Jerome, Dec 8-Michael Jesse Bridgman, 76, died at his home here at 3 o'clock this morning after an illiness of two months. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at 2 'oclock, Rev. W. F. Wills officiating. Interment will be in the Jerome cemetery under the direction of the Wiley funeral home. Mr. Bridgman was born in Colfax, Iowa, April 25, 1860. At the age of 25 he was married to Miss Eva Miller at Cherryvale, Kans. In Kansas he taught school for 16 years and farmed for nine years. From there he moved to Cripple Creek, Colo., then to Salt Lake City, where he was engaged in the grocery business. Coming to Jerome in 1909, he farmed for five years, then became county agent for the rawleigh products untill his illiness. His first wife died here in 1920, leaving two sons. Six years later, at Moscow, he was married to Mrs. Netta Lois Tooley, who with her son, Joe Tooley, survives him. He is survived also by his two sons, Robert J. Bridgman of Jerome, and Floyd Bridgman of Escondido, California, and by his sister, Mrs. E. R. Weaver of Portland.
