Northside News  July 19 1928
  On Monday, Mrs. T. C. Brooks received a dispatch stating that her husband 
had died that day, July 16th, while under an operation at the Sacramento 
hospital, Sacramento, California. Deceased had been in California for some 
time and at Sacramento about three months prior to his death. Relatives there 
and others who have been notified and who will join them will have charge of 
the funeral, Mrs. Brooks being unable to make the trip.
  Several years ago deceased underwent an operation at a Twin Falls hospital 
and his late illiness was a return of the ailment, ulcers of the stomach. 
Besides a brother and other relatives his widow and two sons survive him. He 
was well known in Jerome as a farmer northwest of the city, Mrs. Brooks and 
sons having operated the farm in his absence.
