Moore, 74, died thursday after a long illness. He was born in Illinois on February 14, 1858, and came to Idaho in 1914. In 1920 he came to Jerome after farming in Wendell and Burley. He had been engaged in farming in this community during his stay here. Surviving him are his wife, Winnifred Moore; four sons, Charles, Joe and William, all of Jerome, and Orval, Marshfield, Oregon; and two daughters, Mrs. Ira Treger and Mrs. F.W. Oliver, both of Jerome. Funeral services for Mr. Moore, were held Friday, April 8, at the Baptist church, 2 p.m., with Rev. Johnson officiating. A quartet of girls, made up of the Misses Laura Overfield, Esther Overfield, Ione Whaley and Hazel Shockley, sang two numbers. Interment in the Jerome cemetery was conducted by L'Harrison, undertaker, Jerome.
