Charles L. Patrick died the following day from wounds received in action somewhere in Italy, according to a war department telegram received last night by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lev Patrick, Jerome. Pvt. Patrick, a member of an Army Engineer Corps Division, was mortally wounded February 12. A Veteran of Africa, Tunisian and Sicilian Campaigns, Patrick had been overseas since August of 1942. He entered the service in April of that year. Born February 12, 1919, in the state of Nebraska, He came to Idaho with his parents about six years ago and had lived at Jerome until entering the Army. Surviving are his parents, two brothers and five sisters. They are L. ”Pat” Patrick, with Army Air-Forces some where in the U.S.; Clifford Patrick, Broken Bow, Nebraska; Mrs. Katherine Brown, Jerome; Mrs. Charles Bubak, Twin Falls; Mrs. William Hall, Ketchum; Mrs. Tom Donahue, Chadron, Nebraska; and Mrs. Charles McDermott, Livingston, Wyoming.
