Saturday. Jan. 18, 1908. Price 5 cents. Death of Mrs. Dittimore. (sic - Dittemore) Mrs. T. Dittimore, of Post Falls, died this morning at 2 o'clock, the cause of her death erysipelas. Mrs. Dittimore was one of the pioneer women of the northwest, aged 76 years. She together with her husband, T. Dittimore and only son L. T. Dittimore, crossed the plains by ox wagon in 1850 enroute to the gold fields of California. In 1878 they left California and came to the northwest, settling near Dayton. About 17 years ago they departed from Dayton, coming to Idaho and settling in the Coeur d' alene country. For the past three years Mr. and Mrs. Dittimore have resided in Post Falls. Mrs. Dittimore leaves to survive her a husband, T. Dittimore, now 84 years of age, a son, L. T. Dittimore and five grand children. the grandchildren are: Mrs. W. E. Stoddard, Charles L., Perry L., Jesse E. and Gladys Dittimore. Mrs. Dittimore was well known in Coeur d' Alene and possesses many friends here who will grieve to learn of her death.
