VINTON R. FRYE, 66
  Vinton R. Frye, 66, Coeur d' Alene, died Wednesday, April 8, 1979 at Sunset 
Terrace Nursing Home following a four month illiness.
  He was born July 15, 1903 in Shannon County, Missouri and came here in 1926, 
from Missouri. He had been employed as a cook. Mr. Frye was a member of St. 
Pius X Church.
  Survivors are four sons, Howard Frye and Robert Nelson, Coeur d' Alene, 
Allen Nelson, Carson City, Nev.,and George Nelson, San Diego, Calif.; a 
daughter, Maryhelen LeCaine, Missoula; one brother, H. E. Frye, San Jose, 
Calif.
 Three sisters, Mrs. Jerry Brock, Medford Ore., Mrs. Myrtle Rupert, 
Winnemucca, Nev., and Mrs. Ann Boyd, Alturas, Calif.; and fifteen 
grandchildren.
  Services are pending at the English Funeral Chapel.

Additional Comments:
Surname originated as Fry but shows Frye. Also he lived in Jerome with his 
father George Harvey Fry before moving to Coeur d' alene.
