She was raised in Minnesota and moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1938. Corrine owned several businesses and was a successful entrepreneur. In the mid-1950s, she relocated to Spokane to operate a gift shop at the Ridpath Hotel. During that time, Corrine also opened Corrines' of Emerys dress shop. In 1979, she returned to Lakevilla in Coeur d'Alene. Corrine was an active member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies Eagles and Elks. After the loss of her husband, Kohlie, in 1996, she joined her daughter and family in University Place, Wash. Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters and grandson Douglas. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lyle Anderson, James Gorman and Irwin Kohlenhoefer. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly McConaghy, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Hearthside Manor for their tender love and care, with special thanks to Jean Griffin and Diane Olsen for their enduring compassion and companionship. Services, all in Tacoma, Wash., are scheduled as follows: Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at Gaffney's Funeral Home, 1002 S. Yakima Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405, (253) 572-6003, who is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Dec. 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Private graveside service will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials in Corrine's name may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School in Tacoma or St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene.
