She was 69 years of age. LaRee was born Ellen LaRee Humble to William E. and Evea P. Humble in LaJunta, Colo., on Nov. 3, 1935. She graduated from high school in Aurora, Colo., and married Marine Brad Robinson on Jan. 1, 1954. As a Marine wife, LaRee lived in California, Iowa, North Carolina and Montana, frequently working as an executive secretary. During the years her husband was overseas in Okinawa (Japan) and Vietnam, she displayed great strength as she assumed the roles of head of the household, mother and father, Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, gardener, chauffeur, and devoted wife, while she continued to work full time for Pacific Telephone. Relocating to Coeur d'Alene in 1991, LaRee worked several more years with a computer software company in Post Falls. LaRee was an enthusiastic member of the Cancer and Community Charities (3Cs) and served as club president for two years. She was a charter member of the local unit of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and had served as its president. She was a professional at "working the room" and loved to meet and visit with each person present at every gathering, including the many organizations in which her husband was involved. LaRee loved the outdoors and the Idaho sportsman's lifestyle. Fishing, boating, camping and traveling were among her favorite activities. She and Brad have been attending Lake City Community Church, which she enthusiastically enjoyed. She is survived by her husband, Brad; son Ryan and daughter-in-law Jeanette of Hillside, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Don DuBois, Idaho Falls; and grandchildren Rick and Christine Robinson, Carlsbad, Calif. LaRee was preceded in death by her parents and brother William Humble Jr. Memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Aug. 3 at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d'Alene.
