Earl Kain, 71

Earl W. Kain, 71, Rathdrum, went home to the Lord on Nov. 15, 2005.

He was born Jan. 24, 1934, in Whiteland, Ind., to Helen (Adams) and Horace V. 
Kain. Earl married Sue Purdy on Sept. 5, 1959, in Springfield, Mo., and moved 
with her from Missouri to Coeur d'Alene in 1964.

Earl was an X-ray technician at Kootenai Medical Center for 15 years before 
retiring.

He was a member of Rathdrum Bible Church and a past member of Kootenai County 
Sheriff's Posse and Spirit Lake Lions Club. He enjoyed radio-controlled 
airplanes, muzzle loaders and panning for gold.

Earl is survived by his wife, Sue, at home; son Greg Kain, Post Falls; 
daughter Lynda Lundeby, Post Falls; grandchildren Claire Lundeby and Haley 
Lundeby; beloved nephew Jim Henderson; beloved nieces Mary Steffen, Doris 
McMillin and Virginia Bates.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 19 at Rathdrum Bible Church, 15127 N. 
Stevens St., Rathdrum, ID 83858. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in 
charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rathdrum Bible Church at the above 
address, or to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 
83835.
