He was 46. He was born Nov. 19, 1958, in McCloud, Calif., to W.J. "Bud" and Carole Jeanne (Gill) Lester. He started school in Mount Shasta, Calif. In 1967, the family moved to Lewiston, where he attended Whitman School, Sacajawea Junior High School and Lewiston High School. Jeffery moved in 1975 to Reno, Nev. He later moved to Cold Springs, Nev., and then Loyalton, Calif. He married Tempest Janine Butler Brown of Bordertown, Nev., on May 19, 1984. The family moved to Lewiston for a time before going on to Post Falls, Rathdrum, Hayden Lake, Athol and Westmond near Sagle. Jeffery worked in construction and logging, at a plywood mill, coin mint and Silverwood Theme Park. Survivors include his wife in Westmond; sons, Army Pvt. Nicholas Walter Lester, Fort Drum, N.Y., and Mackinley Lester, at the home in Westmond; stepson Nathin Brown, Coeur d'Alene; father and stepmother, W.J. "Bud" and Lois J. Lester, Clarkston; mother and stepfather Carole and Dick Robinett, Coeur d'Alene; sister Karin Lester, North Bend, Wash.; brothers Kirk Lester, Reno, and Brian Lester, Tacoma, Wash.; five stepsisters; one stepbrother; aunt Ramona Moxley, Redding, Calif.; uncle Stanley Gill, Durango, Colo.; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place and family and friends held a wake on July 24 at the family home in Westmond. Arrangements were under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint.
