She was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Berrien Springs, Mich., to Byron and Josephine (Whetstone) Lochinaw. Dory grew up and graduated from high school in Berrien Springs. She married James Parker in Berrien Springs and they made their home in Niles, Mich., where she worked as a secretary for Simplicity Pattern Company. They moved to Hayden in 1978, and James preceded her in death in 1994. Dory then married Kenneth Sink on Dec. 8, 1995, in Hayden. Dory was an avid golfer and a member of the Avondale Golf Club. She is survived by her husband, Ken, of Hayden; son Doug Parker, Coeur d'Alene; grandchildren Julie Parker Lunceford and Jim Parker, Coeur d'Alene; and great-grandchildren Kylie Parker, Sydni Parker, Samantha Lunceford, Lucy Lunceford and Mallory Lunceford. Yates Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of cremation arrangements. The family prefers memorials to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.
