Harkey, 67 Phyllis E. Harkey, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 15, 2005. She is survived by daughters Judy Peters of Hayden Lake; Elaine Steven Packer of Spokane; Tammy Kendrick of Post Falls; a son, Gene Pritchett of Whitefish, Mont.; a sister, Marie Ken Galloway of Kennewick, Wash.; a brother, Terry Mero of Bend, Ore.; twenty-four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Bob Harkey in 1996, and her parents Stanley and Vivian Mero. Phyllis grew up in Flathead Valley, Mont., but moved to Spokane in the late 1960s. Phyllis had numerous occupations, including dog grooming, which was her favorite. She adored her pet chihuahua, Pebbles, and enjoyed camping with her children and grandchildren, cooking and gardening, and she loved to laugh. Phyllis was loved by many and will be missed by all. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane. ***** Phyllis Harkey, 67 Phyllis E.
