Trudy Fisher, 86

Gertrude "Trudy" Ann Fisher, 86, Coeur d'Alene, died Nov. 20, 2005, at Ivy 
Court in Coeur d'Alene.

She was born June 3, 1919, in Lodgepole, S.D., to Peter and Marie (Holter) 
Peterson. Trudy grew up and attended school in Lodgepole and later attended 
business school in Bismarck, N.D. She moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1939 and was 
married to Jack Fisher on July 7, 1941. Trudy and Jack made their home in 
Coeur d'Alene, where she worked for the Silver Grill, the Athletic Round Table 
and catering at the Desert Hotel, Modern Drug and Marie's, and retired from 
Buttrey's.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and entertaining her family and friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Marcia Fisher of 
Coeur d'Alene; daughter and son-on-law, Julie and Bill Tosh, Post Falls; 
brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Peggy Peterson, Post Falls, Norman and 
Doris Peterson, Coeur d'Alene; grandchildren David Tosh and wife Carrie, 
Edmonds, Okla., Chad Tosh, Post Falls, Pat Fisher, Coeur d'Alene, and Mat 
Fisher, Coeur d'Alene; great-grandchildren Megan, Maranda, Maximillian, 
Cheyenne, Gabrien and Kristian.

Trudy was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1987; brothers Melvin, 
Alfred and Marion; and sister Edna.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Nov. 25, and funeral service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 
26, both at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel. Interment will be at 
Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens.

The family prefers memorials to Kootenai Humane Society, P.O. Box 1598, 
Hayden, ID 83835.
