"Bob" Peterson, 72, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, from cancer of the liver. He was born Oct. 29, 1933, in Kingston, N.Y., the fourth of 12 children born to Emma M. (Wood) and Edgar F. Peterson. He is the beloved partner of Rose Smith of Longbeach, Wash., and loving father and stepfather to Laurel Rollins (Peterson), Matthew Peterson, Dennis Colligan, Cheryl Karraker (Colligan), Dawna Chattick (Smith) and Cristy Lewis (Smith). He leaves eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; numerous siblings; and nieces and nephews. Bob served in the Army during the Korean War and spent his life doing what he loved, serving good food to good people, as a cook and former restaurant owner.
