Quillan, 607 Mina Avenue, of anemia. Deceased was a retired farmer, and has lived in this city for the past three years. Besides his widow, he is survived by seven children, all of whom were at the bedside at the time of death. They are Mrs. P.J. Quillan, of Coeur d'Alene; Mrs. Wm. Lane of Maddon, Wash.; Mrs. Dean Wright, Agatha, Wash.; Mrs. J. Foss Sargent of Tonasket, Wash.; Mrs. R.C. Quinby of Greer, Idaho; John Smylie of Yakima, Wash.; and Geo. E. Smylie of Alberta, Canada. The funeral will be from the Mooney Undertaking parlors at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. Lavender will officiate. Interment will be at Forest cemetery. (John Smylie was born July 14, 1843 in Ontario, Canada) Additional Comments: Corrections: Mrs. Dean (Effie) Wright lived in Agatha, IDAHO; the son, John Smylie, lived in Sedgewick, Alberta, Canada and George Earl Smylie lived in Yakima, Wash. The widow, Julia Chamberlain Smylie, died in 1932 in Seattle, WA. John & Julia Smylie had two other daughters, Bertha & Elizabeth, who both died in 1893 in Walla Walla Co., WA. John & Julia were married January 24, 1869 in Hamilton Co., IA. Names of the other daughters: Mina Quillan, Jennie Adele Sargent, Julia Lane, and Josephine Frances Quinby.
