Born July 24, 1934, in Faribault, Minn., to James and Ruby (Prinzing) Walker, Dave started working at 9 years old making cardboard boxes. At age 11, he started working in the woods. At age 16, he bought his first truck, and logged for 20 years. He then started racing cars in the 40s, well into the 80s, and was always pushing the limits. Dave ran large trucking companies and trail manufacturing businesses for 35 years, up until his death. In 1990, he gave his heart to the Lord and became a minister on Nov. 5, 2000. He ministered with Daysprings Ministries and churches around the Northwest. As well as being a good business man, Dave was a good provider and dad, and was loved by many. He will be missed by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Pam Walker, Kennewick, Dennis and Cindy Walker, Post Falls, Rev. Michael and Jane Walker, Coeur d'Alene; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Tim Faust, Coeur d'Alene; stepsons Don and Mike Baslington, Kennewick; brothers Reid and wife Judy Walker, Clarkston, Wash., Bruce and wife Virginia Walker, Coeur d'Alene, Danny and wife Nancy Walker, Dean and wife Mable Walker, all of Post Falls; sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Roland Taylor, Colville, Wash.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and many, many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark MacFarlan, the nurses at Kennewick General Hospital and Jimmy. Services will be noon Nov. 12 at Faith Tabernacle of Post Falls, 5073 E. 16th Ave. Everyone is welcome. Handling by Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S.
