Harriet Zerza, 86

Harriet Rehard Zerza, 86, formerly of Coeur d'Alene, died at her home in Boise 
on July 24, 2005.

Born June 17, 1919, in Joliet, Mont., Harriet was raised in Coeur d'Alene, 
where she graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School and married Chris Zerza on 
Nov. 17, 1937. They moved to Spokane in 1952 and remained there until 1995, 
when they moved to Boise to be near family.

Harriet was a homemaker throughout her 67 years of marriage. A devoted and 
loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by family and 
friends.

Harriet is survived by her husband, Chris Zerza; son Fred Zerza and daughter-
in-law Edna Kautzmann Zerza, Boise; grandson Steve Zerza and wife Wendy, 
Boise; granddaughter Barbara St. Peter and husband Shawn, Kansas City, Kansas; 
and great-grandchildren Adam and Natalie Zerza, Boise.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wallace Rehard, Dean Rehard and 
Leonard Rehard.

Graveside service was held July 29 at Morris Hill Cemetery, 317 N. Latah in 
Boise. Services are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, 1205 W. 
Bannock St. Boise, (208) 343-6493.
