Date of birth is 8 February 1869 in Trenton, Grundy, Missouri and death date is 11 Jan 1911 in Dudley, Kootenai, Idaho. The 3 family tombstones were propped up against this tree. We assume they had fallen from their original positions. Ellen never married. Additional Comments: Mariah Ellen Van Cleave is the sister to Martha Jane Van Cleave Brown. Their family came to Idaho early, being found in the 1880 census of Cassia County, Idaho. Their father, Asa Milton Van Cleave, served in the Civil War on the Union side.
