Monserud There is a small family plot cemetery on Blaine Road east of Paradise Ridge one mile north of the intersection of Blaine and Eid roads. Take State Highway 8 west out of Moscow to Blaine Road (approximately 1.4 miles from the intersection of Blaine St. and Hwy, 8 in Moscow). Blaine Road is just east of the University of Idaho Plant Science farm and 0.1 mile west of Hash landscaping. Turn right off Hwy, 8 onto Blaine Road and cross the railroad tracks. In l.5 miles bear right on asphalt road; in 0.3 mile a gravel road intersects with the asphalt road-stay right on asphalt; in another 0.3 mi. turn left onto gravel road. In 3.3 miles another gravel road from the right will intersect- don't turn, proceed on straight and in 0.5 mi. you will come to Gilmore Iversons mailbox. The cemetery plot is 0.3 mile from the Iverson mailbox on the right. The plot is on top of a small hill about 100 yards above the gravel road; the graves have a small wrought iron fence around them in the middle of this field. (If approaching the plot from the intersection of Eid Road and Blaine Road, the graves will be on the right 0.8 mile from this intersection.) PAULSON At Rest, Johan Olof Paulson, born Mar. 17, 1853, died May 27, 1889. Our Father has gone to a mansion of rest to the glorious land by the diety blest." footmarker J.O.P. SELLAND Hilda Christine Selland, 1887-1888. (This grave has a small wrought iron fence around it.) (There is evidence of another grave on this plot next to the grave of Hilda Selland, but no stone or marker could be found.)
