J. Tassell, the Loon Creek Expressman, We learn that about two weeks ago a man named George Moyer, who formerly lived in Idaho and was known as "Big George" or "Dutch George", was killed on the trail between Ore Grande and Salmon City, about twenty miles from the latter place. It appears that Moyer had borrowed some money of Garo and then decamed without paying him. Garo, accompanied by Jake Paynter, followed him and overtook him on the trail above named, when an altercation occured between them. Moyer drew his knife and attacked Garo, inflicting several seriouse wounds, when Paynter, in order to save Garo, shot Moyer with his six shooter. The wounded man turned and started on the trail and was found dead the next day about four miles from where the shooting took place.
