Benedict's Hospital after an apparent heart attack. He was born Feb. 18, 1908, at Monroe, Utah, and moved to Shoshone in 1927 where he worked on the Mulliner Ranch. He married Myrtle Mulliner, Nov 13, 1928, at Shoshone. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple March 15, 1929. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 14 years, and served as custodian for the Shoshone Lincoln School for 11 year and for the past three summers had worked for the Big Wood Canal Co. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife, Shoshone; two sons, Dorrell R. Hansen Jr., Modesto, Calif; and Clifford M. Hansen, Bray, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Max (Irene) Moore, Jerome; Mrs. Elvis (Vivian) Pennington, Shoshone; and Mrs. Ladd (Carlene)Hollibaugh, Twin Falls; one brother, Everett Hansen, Richfield, Utah; and two sisters, Mrs. Melba Gregersen, Beaver, Utah, and Mrs. Rulla Conder, Barstow, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday at the Shoshone LDS Church with Bishop LaMar Duffin officiating. Concluding rites will be at the Shoshone Cemetery. Friends may call at Bergin Funeral Chapel Wednesday and until time of service Thursday.
