Idaho Evening Times February 11, 1942
Rupert,  Feb 11, {u.p.}- The Navy Department today had informed Mr. And Mrs. A. 
K. Friesen of the death of their son, Kenneth Cornwall Friesen, 21.
Friesen enlisted in the Navy December, 1940,and was an Aviation Ordinance man, 
third class. The Navy reported he was killed in action in the performance of his 
duty and in the service of his country
