She was 62 years old. Services were under the direction of the Payne Mortuary, with burial in the Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Peters was commissioned a Deputy on Feb. 18, 1959, and was serving Cassia and Minidoka Counties at the time she left the Society's employ on Dec. 31, 1975. Becoming a memeber of the Society on April 1, 1942, when she joined the Mountain Home camp, Mrs. Peters transferred, in July 1953, to the Burley camp, where she held membership at the time of her death. Born on Oct. 31, 1916, the former Juanita Neil Harris was married to Willis M. Carrie on Oct. 4, 1936. She was married to John Peters, now deceased, in 1951. They were residents of Paul, where they were the owners and operators of a motel and cafe. Mrs. Peters' suriviors who are members of the Burley camp include her son, Neighbor James W. Carrie; daughter Neighbor Ardis J. Gorringe; two granddaughters, Neighbors Julie Hunter and Connie Gorringe; and three grandsons, Neighbor Russell Gorringe and Juniors Guy and Theadore Gorringe. Also included among the survivors are three other grandchildren, Cynthia, Taresa, and Jimmy Carrie.
