Lewiston Tribune
Ernestine Grace Chapman, 29 of 323 12 St. Lewiston, died Sat afternoon at St. 
Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient three months.  Miss Chapman 
who had been ill for 3 yrs died of liver failure.  She was born at Lewiston 
Feb 19, 1952 to Ernest and Ruby Chapman.  Miss Chapman lived at Roy, Utah from 
19__ until 1971 and graduated from High School at Roy Utah in 1970.  Miss 
Chapman was a member of the Nez Perce Tribe and the Lapwai United Methodist 
Church.  She enjoyed drawing, reading and swimming. She married Renwick 
Ezekial at Lapwai in 1970.  They were divorced in 1971.  She is survived by a 
son Cedrick Haven Ezekial; five sisters, Cynthia Chapman Scott of Lapwai,Ann 
Chapman Judy Morrell of Lewiston,Lori Wessel of Victor Montana (step sisters) 
Debra Marie Chapman of Plummer, Gayle Littlelight Bear of Kamiah, 2 step 
brothers Joseph Alexix Chapman and Dean David Chapman both of Plummer; and her 
honorary tribal granmothers Rena Slickpoo of Lapwai and Mary Jim of Parker 
Washington.  The funeral will be Wed at 10 am at the Lapwai United Methodist 
Church with the Rev Walter Moffett officiating.  A Prayer service wi planned 
Tues at 7:30 p.m. at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the 
Sweetwater Cemetary.
