The Oakley Eagle    Sept 4 1908
  Lafayette Gee, formerly a resident of Oakley, took a dose of arsenic in 
mistake for salts, one day last week and died 15 minutes later in great agony. 
Mr. Gee was living at Philbrick & Greenwood's ranch on the East Fork of Rock 
creek, in Oneida county, Mr. Gee leaves a wife and a boy 2 years old.
