He had been shot in the mouth, the ball passing up through the brain and lodging in the back part of the skull. Doctors Connely, Burgi and Becket examined the body and found the under jaw broken and the bullet hole as above stated. The indian boy had been sleeping in a cabin with a negro named Mills Moore, and after the Coroner's inquest, suspicion pointing strongly towards the negro, he was arrested, together with a negro boy named Barney, and both held to bail in the sum of $2000.
