W. REELS, PHOTOGRAPHER. G. W. Reels, some of whose work is reproduced in this number of The Idaho Magazine, is a photographer of exceptional merit, who learned the business in Kansas City, Mo., and who established his present studio in Payette some three month ago, where he is now equipped with all the modernities necessary for artistic work. Mr. Reels is also a musician, and a teacher of violin and clarionet. He is the leader of the Modern Woodman band and orchestra of Payette, and under his experienced supervision this musical organization of 16 pieces has reached an excellence of harmony never before attained by a band in this city. Mr. Reels has also organized an orchestra, which is fast gaining a reputation for good music. While in Kansas City, Mo., our subject became affiliated with the American Federation of Musicians, membership in which he still holds as also in the M. W. A., and in the Eagles. He is a progressive young man, and of as popular and genial spirit as he is enterprising.
