Roehr Wesley O. Roehr was born June 17, 1904 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Territory. As a youth he lived in Kalispell, Colson, and Deer Lodge, Montana. Wesley married Roselie Myers on September 14, 1927. Their children are Roderic, Cheryne, and Marlea. They have numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. Wesley Roehr attended Whitworth College, Spokane University. He has a B. of A. in Sociology, Economics, and Education. He also did some graduate work at the University of Washington. He was a high school teacher in Montana and Washington. Wesley Roehr was acting mayor and mayor of Payette from November, 1969 to January 4, 1977. He presided over an outstanding council and staff. Major happenings during his term were: Acquired City Hall, High reservor and improved wate supply, sewage treatment plant and rehabilitated sewage lines, all weather swimming pool, playground equipment and park improvement.
