Creek or Canon.

Notice is hereby given to all whom it may concern, that the undersigned, Sidney 
W. Henrickson, a citizen of the United States, over the age of twenty one 
years, and does hereby locate claim and appropriate, under and in accordance 
with the laws of the United States and of the Territory of Idaho, all the water 
flowing in and through or that may be made to flow in a certained unnamed creek 
or canyon, in the south west quarter of section twenty six, township seven, 
north Range one west, in the County of Ada Idaho Territory, to be diverted and 
taken from said creek or canyon, at a point where said water issues from said 
canon, or at any other point one half mile north, or one half mile south of the 
dividing line between sections twenty six and twenty seven, being the point of 
posting this notice, or near there, to above or below. Said water is claimed by 
me and is hereby located and appropriated for the purpose of irrigation and for 
other agricultural, domestic, mining, mechanical and manufacturing and sanitary 
purposes. And is to be diverted by means of flume, canal or ditch, taken 
directly from said Creek, or with the right to build and maintain a dam for the 
purposes of storing and raising the waters of said creek to run from the basin 
created by such dam. The size of such ditch to be constructed, to be three feet 
wide on the bottom and five feet wide on top with a depth of two feet, to be 
constructed from the point of appropriation to along and over lands on the on 
the southerly side of Payette River, with the privilege to use flume, pipes or 
other conduits for any part of of the distance by laterals &c for irrigation, 
mining, milling, and all mechanical and manufacturing purposes for which water 
may be applied and used.
