Judgment rendered on the 27, day of  July, 1899, against defendant herein for 
the sum of $285.80 on a promissory note for $250.00 dated Dec. 9, 1897 and 
signed by said defendant.  In consideration of the sum of $50.00 we do hereby 
sell, assign, and transfer to H. E. Wallace Judgement above mentioned, with 
interest accrued and to accrue, for his use and benefit; hereby authorize him 
to inforce and collect payment thereof, in our name or otherwise, but at his 
own costs and expense
