A Valuable Present.

H. W. Hoyt of Chicago spent a few days the past week visiting his daughter and 
her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Fred French, of New Plymouth.  While in the Payette 
Valley Mr. Hoyt made his daughter the substantial present of a 40-acre tract of 
land, lying north of the property of her father-in-law, Mr. C. S. French, at 
New Plymouth.  The land was purchased by Mr. Hoyt from the New Plymouth Land & 
Colonization Company.  The consideration was $1400 cash.
