BAND OF SHEEP POISONED IN VICINITY OF PAYETTE 
 
News from Payette is to the effect that a band of sheep belonging to E. W. 
Tindall has been poisoned.  Three hundred were dead yesterday and many others 
seemed likely to die.  The case is to be investigated.  If the miscreant who 
put out the poison can be found he will be prosecuted vigorously.
