J. A. McAdams was in town with a sturgeon weighing 150 pounds.  That was a 
pretty good sized fish, but it was only a minnow compared with some of the 
sturgeon that have been taken from the Snake river.  We have forgotten the 
exact weight of one that was on exhibition at one of our meat markets last 
summer, but we believe it tipped the beam at something over 400 pounds.
