The big ice house at Washa (Washoe) which burned down last Thursday night will 
not, we are told, repaired, and the 2500 tons of ice will be mostly 
destroyed.  This will work a hardship on New Plymouth people since their ice 
supply is so limited.  It is stated that the Armor company will build another 
ice-house next fall of twice the capacity of the old one.
