Celebrated His Birthday.

Last Sunday was the fortieth birthday anniversary of John Hill, the prominent 
Payette Valley rancher, and some of his neighbors and friends, 32 in number, 
helped to celebrate the occasion by calling upon him Sunday evening at his 
home.  A good sociable time was enjoyed and everyone entered heartily into the 
spirit of the evening to make the time one long to be remembered for its 
pleasures.  Hymns were sung, prayers offered, and a short address, on behalf of 
the guests, was delivered by Rev. Dressler, who drove out from Payette Sunday 
afternoon as also did Mr. and Mrs. Vail.
