Miss Lila Andrews treated her friends last Saturday evening to what she styled 
a "cooky party."  The boys were told to bake and furnish the cookies, and the 
merriment caused by this novel innovation was very decided.  Parlor games were 
enjoyed until a late hour.  Those present were:  Misses Lula Ransom, Nettie 
Oliver, Maggie Oliver, Edna Bean, Kittie Ransom, Goldie McCray, Lila Andrews; 
Messrs. Vachary Hilton Pearley Anderson, Joe Gamble, Roscoe Bean, Elmer 
Ransom, Arthur Smith.
