There was a large and enthusiastic crowd present and great interest is being shown in the matter. G. E. Frevert, of the U. S. agricultural department and H. A. Ireland, county farm expert, were present, also representatives from the creameries at Nampa and Caldwell, who gave short talks on the benefits to be derived from the establishment of the creamery. A committee was appointed to solicit stock subscriptions, which are placed at $10 per share. It was reported at the meeting that 550 cows had already been pledged and that a great many more could easily be secured. A third meeting is to be held in Payette tomorrow.
