Emmett Blocking County Division
 
Emmett through Sen. Hayes has so far held up the county division plans.  House 
bill No. 112 which is simply a measure that would show the vote to decide the 
matter of division and later select the county seat in the same manner, by 
ballot.  This would seem fair enough.
 
It is a matter that directly concerns the people in the boundaries of the 
proposed county but Emmett will agree to nothing only that it be designated as 
the county seat.  This leaves the fate of this bill rather uncertain.
